Q.
Hai am mom of 4 month old boy he has cold and cough past 1 week and it was alright now but My son has fever from yesterday morning and I visited hospital my doctor suggest calpol paracetamol to give when he has fever and my son has fever evey 4 hours once I give paracetamol means it was down then again had fever my question is how many days to take to cure fever from baby body???

ExpertDr Bandana JoshiAyurvedic Physician4 years agoA. It usually takes two to three days for fever to subside due to cold and cough so give steam to the baby and put nasoclear nasal drops and keep head little elevated while sleeping

AbhayaMom of a 15 yr 10 m old boy4 years agoA. Hi mom Viral fever can take 3-5 days to subside. Give medicine as prescribed by the doctor. It will be fine. Repeat the dose after six hours if fever comes again. Take care and all the best
