Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 5 m old boy3 years agoA. This may due to either allergy or infection and some times due to climate changes and temperature variations .
For cold you can give drops wikoryl AF 0.5 ml to the child 2-3 times per day.
try to prevent temperature variations around the child and give nasal saline drops frequently for nasal blockage, simple cough and cold. Indirect steam is helpful.
Home remediess like Tulsi Ginger diluted with water combination (honey can be added after 1 year age)and turmeric with milk at least 2 times per day.
Give warm water to drink
If no improvement in 2 or 3 days then meet your doctor
paracetamol for fever and pain

So You can actually nebulise your child before you put your child to sleep that’s going to help in meeting the cough out of the chest and throat it would be easier for your child to breathe and also going to advise you to put a pillow under the head of the child it will make breathing easy for the child
