Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children3 years agoA. growth of the child can be ensured by fulfillment of proper nutritional requirement specially iron and vit D is required for better growth and cognition.one should ensure that the child should get a proper balanced diet which contains all types of micro and macronutrients essential for growth.
any kind of infection specially any chronic infection should be ruled out and treated which may hamper the growth otherwise.
after 2 years of age you can give some powder like nangro/ prohance junior mixed with milk twice a day for one or two months but any health drink is not recommended before two yrs of age.u can add flavours also tymito milk. avoid giving too much of milk otherwise it may hamper the hunger of the baby and the baby may not be taking interest in having other variety of food .and opposite to that if the baby is not taking milk properly the dairy products will be a good substitute like curd, paneer n cheese etc.

Banana Who is rich in potassium not calcium I think there is some confusion that you are having so don’t think that it is rich in calcium if you want to go for something which in calcium then you can consult your doctor you can go for dairy products and doctors have cleared would be able to advise you right food for calcium
