gud afternoon sir/mam, my baby is 7yrs,3mnths old. weight 25.4kg she is suffering from fever cough cold n doctor gave monocef tab,ambrolite levo syrup, mac fast 500mg tab. i used 7days but fever was irregular. again doctor done tests n confirmed BLOOD N URINE INFECTION n treated with AMIKACIN & CEFTRIAXONE antibiotics. Amikacin 200mg mrng n eveng for 3days n based on urine culture report amikacin 400mg per day for 2 more days had given by doctor. but after 7 days my started complaining hearing issues . may I know what is the reason for it mam/sir . is any problem with antibiotics

I don’t think so it is associated with the medicines that you have given because a doctor must have kept your child on the basic antibiotics according to the age of important to be given get if you are facing this problem with your child I suggest you to have a proper check up with an ENT doctor one time
