Greetings doctor , my boy baby is 1 month old he is suffering with cold, and sneezing he is having blocked nose and Garh sound while sleeping, present using saline drops but no complete relief, is it safe to use nebuliser, if so how to use kindly help us doctor, please suggest the best treatment.

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 11 m old boy3 years agoA. safe you can give nebulization with ns bottle that is normal saline water. this will help in decreasing both dry cough as well as will help in decreasing the mucus present in the throat of the child. but other nebulization medicines (asthalin, duolin, budecort etc) can be given to your child is decided by the doctor. so your doctor will decide after examination whether your child needs a nebulization with these medicines or not thus the maximum nebulization that you can give to the child without dmedical consultation is with normal saline it is totally safe and it is not addictive
