A. If Gopika has been suffering from diarrhea for 2-3 days and there is no significant recovery despite antibiotics, consider these steps: Hydration is Key – Ensure she drinks plenty of ORS (Oral Rehydration Solution), coconut water, or rice water to prevent dehydration. Dietary Adjustments – Give her light, easy-to-digest foods like moong dal khichdi, mashed banana, boiled potatoes, curd, and sabudana. Avoid milk (except breastfeeding), oily, or spicy foods. Probiotics Help – Offering homemade curd or probiotic supplements can restore gut health. Monitor for Signs of Dehydration – If she has dry lips, sunken eyes, reduced urination, or extreme weakness, consult a doctor immediately. Check for Underlying Causes – If diarrhea persists beyond 4-5 days, stool tests might be needed to rule out infections or food intolerances. Since antibiotics haven’t shown much effect, discuss with her doctor about alternative treatments or stopping them if unnecessary. Let me know if you need more help!
