good morning sir,my son age is 5 years he is suffering only fever with yesterday evening,we have given paracetamol and meftagesic-ds after body normal.again 5 hra repeated fever sir. pls give suggestion sir.

ExpertDr Mahesh PatilPaediatrician3 years agoA. Hello, your baby boy is 5 years old and he is having a fever so after giving him paracetamol or mefenemic acid which works only for few hours so give him proper antibiotic too

ExpertDr Disha PatelAyurvedic Physician3 years agoA. keep temperature checking 6 hourly.. And give paracetamol drops / syp in proper dose, may repeat after 4 hours.. Fevers higher than 104° F. should be attended to immediately.give sufficient fluids.. if the duration of fever is not increasing, fever remains high , it's preferable to visit your doctor, for further evaluation and exact treatment or management.
