Q.

good morning my son hayan is 13mths old .his is having high no of WBC in his blood count..did 3 tests in 1.5mths but the count is increasing from 15000 to 16500 and now 18000. there is no symptoms of any infection... doctors here are saying nothing to worry about ..but we are very worried pl advice

A. Hello dear parent You can consult a pediatric hematologist and get the child further evaluated to find out what could be the cause of the elevated who levels and managed accordingly

A. Produced in your bone marrow, they defend your body against infections and disease. But, when there are too many white blood cells, it usually means you have infection or inflammation in your body.
