Q.

Good morning Doctor, My son is 7 months old. He has fever from Saturday evening and the temperature was 99.6 and yesterday night it was 100.4 and its 99. i gave him thrice calpol 120mg syrup yesterday. last i gave him yesterday night around 11pm. now i checked its 99 should i continue the same or any other suggestions

In such a query it is important to get a proper assessment done which is possible only with clinical interoyiaction so it will be better to visit your doctor /pediatrician for proper guidance regarding this. The treating doctor will advise you the proper investigation if required as well as prescribe appropriate treatment as per the requirement. A. Fevers usually don't need treatment. The average body temperature is 98.6 F (37 C). But normal body temperature can range between 97 F (36.1 C) and 99 F (37.2 C) or more.
