Q.
Good morning Doctor... My baby is 1 month 50 days old and he got vaccinated yesterday so now he has got fever along with the thigh pain. and am giving him paracetamol syrup every 6 hours.. but it would be helpful if i know the fever temperature range for this age baby.. bcz now he is with 99.2°F fever

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 10 m old boy3 years agoA. when fever comes after vaccination you can give paracetamol to the child for fever as well as pain. paracetamol can be given maximum 4 times per day. you can also apply ice over the injection site. if there is local swelling you can apply ice as well as thrombophob gel. vaccine fever usuxally subsides in max 2 to 3 days but if it continues beyond 3 days meet your dr to rule out any other causes of fever
