Good morning Doctor, my baby 2.4y old falled down from bed day before yesterday, after that she get vomiting and from next day onwards she is active. In this case what we need to do, shall we consult the doctor or not please let me know. thanks advance.

A. Any Fall injury specially head injury needs to be assessed properly . In any such case certain symptoms needs to be checked like loss of consciousness reccurrent vomiting or any abnormal moment or convulsions . Such case needs immediate medical intervention as there could be some internal injury . Otherwise application of ice locally to reduce the swelling and pain can be done along with some analgesic like paracetamol. Recurrent fall injury for a child should be avoided as it can lead to some chronic manifestjkations occasionally . Also teeth injury should be rule out in any such case which is commonly associated and can be easily missed out most of the time .

A. Hi mommy Be careful Consult with your doctor in person for proepr physical examination and treatment Maintain hygiene Do abdominal stretching exercise and go for walking every day atleast 15-20 minutes stay hydrated avoid junk food and bakery products like maida bread avoid stress stay happy
