Janani ViswanathanMom of 2 children4 years agoA. Few spoons of boiled and cooled water after feeding solids will be sufficient for a six month old. You can slowly increase the amount as the baby gets older. Too much of water can also fill the stomach and baby will resist to take other solids. Other than water Baby will get the needed hydration through breastmilk or other liquids that u feed. On an average babies upto one year can take around 60 to 100ml water per day if they have adequate Breastmilk or formula. If there is no proper hydration ur baby may pee in dark yellow colour. You can give three meals per day. Milk can be anywhere between 500 to 750 ml based on the solid intake.
