good evng,my son 60 days old...i m feeding the baby..but milk not sufficiant for him.he is starting to sucking the finger...can i start any additional feed mam.pls give suggestion

Lovleena MishraMom of 2 children4 years agoA. If the baby is passing urine for atleast 8-10 times in a day, then the baby is getting enough to eat. Your breasts feel softer and less full after feeding if your baby is getting enough breast milk. Your baby looks content after a feed. Exclusive breastfeeding is advisable till the time the baby completes 6 months of age.
How to know if the baby is not getting enough to eat?
Dark and smelly urine.
Lethargy
Six hours or more without passing urine
Dry lips and a parched mouth
Increased thirst
Few or no tears
Sunken eyes
Excessive irritability and sleepiness
Finger sucking : Babies suck their fingers because of many reasons : boredom, keeping anxiety at bay, to cope with their environment,
