Q.
Good evening sir.. my son is on formula & breastfeed .. he poops for 2/3 days .. he struggles for pooping.. makes sounds.. any solution for his poop free??

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 4 m old boy2 years agoA. normally hardness of the stool is not seen when you are giving only breastfeeding to the child.
it is advisable to continue only breastfeeding and nothing else till completion of 6 modnths of age.
if still the hard stool continues you have to visit the doctor to find the cause.
but if you are giving formula milk then there is a possibility that the milk is not properly digested by the child and you wisll have to change the brand of formula milk.
