Q.

Good evening. doctor this gowthami and I tested positive vth out any symptoms....but my20 months old son is suffering for from high fever 103....what should I do I started medication today...and to my son I'm giving paracetamol

A. yes its ok to give pcm, Consultation with doctor personally , is required because examination of the baby is necessary to arrive on a conclusive diagnosis and prescribe accordingly. Maintain adequate hygiene to prevent risk of infection and stay safeOmicron variant is likely to be more infective and spread easily. Its symptoms are cough fatigue runny nose congestion. Children show predominantly upper respiratory tract infection likr fever, runny nose, throat pain, body ache , dry cough. It is recommended to wear a mask regardless of the vaccination status and maintain social distancing. use of sanitizer is recommended .
