Good evening Doctor, My son is 1year 1 months old. Since 4 days, he is having running nose. I m giving him Maxtra oral drops once or sometime twice a day. but his cold is still there. please advice

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children4 years agoA. Cold is a viral illness and symptoms could be sneezing, running nose, cough sore throat, nasal congestion and fever.
Treatment consists of antihistamines antipyretics ancalgesics and decongestants .
steam inhalation wouldf be beneficial .
Medicines like sinarest/wikoryl / Alex cold can be given in a proper dose according to the weight for 3-5 days as per the symptoms .
