Q.

Good Evening Doctor, I'm mother of 23 months old baby girl. she has fever since 17 jan Night. Initially I gave her crocin ds 3 ml in 6 hours gap till 2 PM today. She got very high temperature today by 6 3p pm about 104 degree and I gave her meftal P 4 ml. Her body temperature is now 99.4 . kindly suggest me what time gap should be in between meftal p and crocin . Regards

A. Fever is a response of the body to any kind of infection or any inflammatory process in body so you can give paracetamol in a dose of 15 mg/kg/dose asc the first line treatment also this dose can be again repeated after every 5 to 6 hours if feve r is repeating. and you can also do cold sponging of the body if required

A. Hello dear parent , Uou should get her covid tested. Also it can be viral fever. But getting covid tested will not let you be double mind. Also consult with your paediatric for proper information. Good luck and take care
