Good Evening Doc has suggested me D&C tomorrow. Can I have food and drink water before the procedure. And should we clean the vaginal area. Will they give anesthesia

Dr GhouseGuardian of 3 children4 years agoA. it is always better not to eat anything at least 6 to 8 hours before the procedure in case if there is anything ask your doctor for clarification issue . .

Sai Prasanthi R LMom of a 11 yr 7 m old boy4 years agoA. Hello dear parent! Nothing should be taken on the day of procedure as it is done under anaesthesia. If vagina should be cleaned, that advice will be given only by your doctor. Would suggest you to consult your doctor to clarify all your concerns and make a note of all the precautions.
