Good Evening Doc has suggested me D&C tomorrow. Can I have food and drink water before the procedure. And should we clean the vaginal area. Will they give anesthesia

Dr GhouseGuardian of 3 children4 years agoA. it is always better not to eat anything at least 6 to 8 hours before the procedure in case if there is anything ask your doctor for clarification issue . .

If vagina should be cleaned, that advice will be given only by your doctor. Would suggest you to consult your doctor to clarify all your concerns and make a note of all the precautions.
