Good Afternoon sir. Sir I have a 2M 6Days baby. we are using Vitamin D3 and Zincovit syrup 0.5mL each. her stools were black in colour.what was the reason...?

A. we are using Aptamil formula feed and upto day before yesterday we used orofer XT syrup sir.

A. the colour of stool can be black due to iron supplements you might be giving to the child or it may be black due to formula milk you might be giving o or it might be dark in colour naturally. if the consistency of the stool is semi solid to solid therex is no need to worry about the colour of the stool. if in confusion you can meet your doctor for clarification

My baby is of 4 month and 12 days from initial days we are giving De pura vitamin D3 5 drop each days and then after we are giving zincovit 5 drop each day and after 4 month we started giving morning and night vitamin d3 and in the afternoon zincovit . I just want to know is it ok what routine i following or something else I have to change or stop giving zincovit and vitamin d3. one more question i have to asked that something my baby stool colour is greenish what it indicated.
