good afternoon my newborn baby boy bilirubin was 9 taken when he was 2 days old when we repeat the test bilirubin is 13 .9 at 16 days old is there any concern

Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 4 m old boy4 years agoA. do not worry it is within normal limits and no treatment is given just continue breastfeeding and more milk consumption by the child will help in decreasing the bileerubin level and by one month of age the bileerubin will fall more drastically

I suggest you please consult with your pediatrician about this matter because physical examination of child is important for proper diagnosis and treatment
