POOJA KOTHARIMom of a 8 yr 6 m old boy7 months agoA. For your 5-year-2-month-old son with sensitive skin allergy and Vitamin D3 deficiency, here are some quick treatment suggestions:
1. For Sensitive Skin Allergy:
✔ Use Gentle Skincare Products – Choose fragrance-free, hypoallergenic soaps and moisturizers like Cetaphil or Aveeno.
✔ Moisturize Regularly – Apply a thick moisturizer (like coconut oil or baby cream) twice a day to prevent dryness.
✔ Avoid Triggers – Identify and avoid irritants like dust, pollen, harsh detergents, and synthetic fabrics.
✔ Give an Oatmeal Bath – Helps soothe itching and irritation.
✔ Consult a Dermatologist – If allergies persist, a doctor may prescribe anti-allergy medications or creams.
2. For Vitamin D3 Deficiency:
✔ Sunlight Exposure – Let your child play in the morning sunlight (before 10 AM) for 15–30 minutes daily.
✔ Vitamin D3 Supplements – If prescribed by a doctor, give Vitamin D3 drops or chewable tablets.
✔ Increase Vitamin D Foods – Include milk, cheese, yogurt, eggs, fish (like salmon), mushrooms, and fortified cereals in his diet.
