Q.

Giving pomegranate to Baby from last week . Today I noticed her tooths are looking blueish black ? Is it bcz of this fruit . And iron supplements also giving..is it ok discoloured tooth after fruit juice or how it will go??

A. Yes both pomegranate and iron supplements can cause tooth discoloration. The discoloration due to pomegranate may go away. But While giving iron supplements try to give it inside the mouth such that it doesnt fall on the teeth. Or try to get an alternative irin supplement which doesn't stain the teeth from your pediatrician.
