Q.

From yesterday my daughter is having fever, cough and vomiting. I have given paracetamol and ondem. After 6 to 8 hours again fever is 101. Should i give her antibiotic like clavam or azithromycin ? And what medicine is for cough ??

A. you cannot give antibiotics without medical consultation. also if it's viral infection or an allergy then there is no role of antibiotics. all infection and illness doe not require antibiotics. also dosage is given as per infection and type of disease. meet your dr for proper advice. kindly give syrup allegra 3.5 ml twice daily and syrup asthalin 5 ml twice daily. give nasal saline drops in the nasal cavity every 3 hourly and give indirect steam inhalation. if the child doesn't improve in next two and a half days then kindly meet your doctor and give warm water to drink. give home remedies like tulsi ginger honey and turmeric with milk. s
