Q.

frm 2 days my baby health is not ok...he has vomiting n lose motion i gave him medicine as per doctor said...but he is biting his tongue btw teeth...i don't know why he is dong this???? even he is not eating properly.. avoiding all foods ...plz tell me

A. Loose motion are most of the time infective where it is associated with fever and vomiting andt its known as gaystroenteritis where symptomatic treatment along with management for dehydration is required if loose motions are associated with foul smell mucous high grade fever than it could be bacterial infection which needs antibiotics treatment

A. Tongue chewing in most babies is a developmental behaviour that will fade in a matter of weeks. In some instances, it could be caused by other factors such as teething or foreign objects in the mouth. In rare cases, it could be an indicator of a problem. Make sure to consult a doctor.
