for dry cough which syrup can I give to my 6y5m child

A. hi instead of syrup ,give Luke warm water with pinch of turmeric powder, salt and two or three drops of ghee . give it in 2 tbsp quantity every 2 hours. or give mixture of honey and ginger in 1/2 tbsp quantity once in a day. keep your child well hydrated provide apt sun light at least 20 minutes a day maintain good hygiene
