Q.
For constipation problem 1 spoon honey in warm water .. will it work I heard it also cause tight motion..pls tell me???

ExpertDr. Minal AcharyaNutritionist7 years agoA. if you are talking about the baby then nothing should be given only exclusively breastfeed till 6 months complete and honey should be avoided till 1 year also it is very common and normal for exclusively breastfed babies to not pass stool frequently it can even be once in 7 to 8 days. consult doctor if baby stomach appears to be bloated

Shaista TarannumMom of a 17 yr old boy7 years agoA. is this for the baby or the mother? For the baby you cannot give honey until completion of 1 year. For the mother gulkhand will be a better remedy.if you are exclusively breastfeeding then better to avoid honey for a few more months. eat lots of fibre rich foods. eat pear fruit. eat lots of green leafy vegetables.
