Q.

Five weeks and three days ago, my baby weighed 3 kg, and now he’s 4.4 kg. Is this a slow weight gain? My baby is now 1 month and 2 weeks old.

A. Hello my dear parent! There should be a minimum weight gain of 400 to 500 g per month. The first few months after birth. Your baby is doing fine. Continue to exclusively breastfeed your baby while on demand for better health, comm nutrition, hydration, and weight gain.
