Q.

few days ago i found worm in my 9 months old baby's potty.so I called my child pediatrician immediately..over phone he tell me take noworm...but mistakenly i overdose my child 5ml/day for 3 days..this was a miscommunication..now my worm coming in potty in huge..so i called dctr he said nothing to worry just because i overdose its coming in huge way .is any problem arise to my child ?..is any worry? i became very very tensed now

A. Deworming medicine needs to be given routinely to every child after one year of age and the dose is 200 mg of albendazole once at night time and then repeat the same dose after 14 days oncde this cycle should be repeated every six months at least till 5 year of age but it is advisable to givef this medicine only after taking guidance by your doctor
