Dr Vandan H KumarFather of a 7 yr 4 m old boy2 years agoA. you have to give only demand feeding to the child that is whenever the child feels hungry you can give milk to the child
and the child will take the milk according to the need and then will leave the milk.
if the child is taking more milk you can offer milk in more quantity with intermittent burpingd .
there is no need to to go for fixed feeding pattern.
also there is no need to wake up the child from sleep if the weight of the child is within normal limits .
also if thed weight gain of the child every month is normal(more than 600gm/ month) then no need to worry regarding the pattern of breastfeeding / milk intake
