Q.

Family forces me to put a hammock for my 2 months old baby. I have read that swinging too fast on hammocks or cradle can damage the baby's brain. Is it true?

A. Try to reduce the speed of moving the hammock if possible.

A. It wont damage the brain but may not be ideal for other activities. Just pick ur baby up more often, and try to not resist or revel to their requests, it will only lead to discord. Just do other activities also with the baby. It’s a myth that the baby gets a habit of being in godi.. they need safety and security of being near their mother. The child lets go of that habit in a year or two, and its ok. Being close to mom is very comforting for a little baby.
