Bhurabi BharaliMom of a 12 yr old boy8 years agoA. pregnancy and delivery are most life changing experience for all the women especially for their body. . their body don't remains the same after the child birth.. so you shouldn't compare it with the pre pregnancy body and it's activeness... the body changes a lot.. behave very differently... it losses a lot of strength during childbirth... there will be weekness and pain in back, tummy, legs , hips, joints, etc... generally the weekness and pain get subside with time... it takes time to regain the body strength... may be upto 2 years in generally ..but in some cases it remains for lifetime... that's why it is suggested to go for post natal massage for the new mom's.... it is not a luxury.. it is a nessecity of the body.. it is required to regain the body strength.. it will ease the pain and give relaxation and rebuild the body strength... Take proper care of yourself too along with the baby.... Take proper rest and sleep... Household chores can wait, mess can be waited to be cleaned..ask for help for works related to household and baby from your hubby and other family members... take proper rest... Complete your sleep... Sleep when the baby sleeps.... If sleep is not completed then your body will be exhausted and cranky .. So take proper rest and sleep.... don't go for dieting... eat balanced diet but in small quantity frequently... don't eat junk food... You can eat everything healthy... But in limited quantity..as excess of good things is also a bad things... drink a lot of healthy fluids... Upto 2.5-3 litres per day... Take your post natal medicines regularly... Go for walking regularly.. Atleast for half an hour daily...(if c section then please take a green signal to start) but if the pain is too servere then you should consult with your doctor immediately...
