A. It is very common that children less than 6 months of age may not pass stool for sometime 10 days also. Slight discomfort as well as straining while passing urine and stool is also normal. You have to just take care of colic pain as well as gas in the abdomen and do not wdorry about the frequency of the stool if the consistency of the stool is semi solid to solid. please note that intermittent crying that you see might be due txo colic pain and not due to constipation.
