Dr. my daughter is having fever i e the temperature of body is 97 everytime is it called . as her body many time hot. please tell me what should be the common temperature of childrens body. as our senior parents are getting worried and telling me to give fever medicine to her. please help me out for this

Dr Javed HussainFather of 2 children5 years agoA. hello there 97 degrees is not fever so do not worry about the warm temperature of the baby as the surrounding temperature is also hot and humid. if your baby is active and tolerating feed and without any evidence of cough and cold do not give any medications unnecessarily
