does tying saree/ belt over the tummy post delivery decrease the tummy size..

ExpertDr. Minal AcharyaNutritionist8 years agoA. there is no scientific evidence of benefit in reducing stomach by tying belt. tummy fat requires overall weight and fat loss. have a positive frame of mind and achieve weight loss buy persistent and motivated efforts have active lifestyle and exercise at least 45-60 minutes daily. reduce your calorie and fat intake for weight loss, have healthy fats from flaxseed, nuts, oats, have fibre rich vegetables and fruits, Take good protein from egg, pulses, soya, beans low fat milk and Milk products avoid refined flour, processed fried, sugary food and drinks. don't Store or buy junk snack on healthy foods like fruit , nuts, sprouts and salad cut salt intake don't skip meals and breakfast. divide food intake into 6 small meals per day drink lot of water. Visit a certified nutrition consultant/dietitian for a detailed plan tummy exercises like crunches help to tone muscles. Continue exclusive breastfeeding tell 6 months as it helps in weight loss after pregnancy. sleep for at least 7 hours a day avoid late night snacking and dinner consult a physician to rule out any medical reason for weight gain

If you want you can try it... you should try not to wear it while eating, sleeping etc.. also if you feel any discomfort then please stop wearing it...
