Q.

Does muti language speaking parents cause delay in speech in child? my daughter is 2 yrs old. she can't pronounce some words .she pronounced like rabbit as abbit , koyal as toyal, light as aaight , apple as appu ,pear as piu. How can I improve her speaking. we speak 3 languages at home. Does she need speech therapy? is it language delay or speech delay? or it is perfectly ok for her age? she knows 1-20 puzzle solving and can recognise,pronounce A-Z . please suggest

A. definitely baby can get puzzled as to what to speak that is why it is always recommended to use only one language so that baby is able to catch up speaking
