Does lactogen helps in weight gaining of baby

Dt. Megha GuptaGuardian of a 8 yr 8 m old girl5 years agoA. Hello, dear weight gain pattern depends on the birth weight of ur baby. Lactogen is formula feed and can be given only after Peadiatrician's advice. So consult Peadiatrician and decide if there is a need to give formula feed. Better to give breastmilk as much possible if breastmilk production is alright.

Shreya MitraMom of a 8 yr 10 m old boy5 years agoA. What is the birth weight of your child ? Formula milk is an alternative to breast milk and is not an extra thing that can promote weight gain. If the baby doubled birth weight in 6 months and tripled in 12 months the baby is in the right weight graph. New borns tend to lose some weight in the first month and then they gain it back.
