does iron and folic acid syrup leads to constipation in child , if yes then what are the remedies for that...

ExpertDr.Rasika ThosarPaediatric Intensivist6 years agoA. you taking iron doesn't cause constipation . if he is exclusively breastfed then constipation is rare. he will pass stools eventually. do tummy time, cycling motion of legs, do burp properly. if child becomes irritable , not feeding well , then consult your paediatrician. formula fed babies may have constipation. so watch for consistency of stools as well.
