Q.

does giving calcium syrup for 2 month 19days old baby s compulsory?if it so then how many times should give nd how much quantity?

A. My paed prescribed calcium to my daughter only after 6 months and that too she does not take and vomits so he advised to give only when she takes it in a normal way dont force feed supplement medicines in such a way that child vomits. In 2 months u can gv only if prescribed by paedriatician. After 6 month calcium needs increase due to teething and bones development

A. it is not necessary and is given for only children who do not have proper weight gain and also so who have got less birth weight otherwise if growth is proper and weight is within normal limits calcium supplement is not required
