Does gestational diabetes affect the baby if untreated without medicines during and after pregnancy?

A. Yes definitely gestation diabetes is a very high risk factor and if left untreated it can affect the baby by causing growth restriction or sometimes a very large size of the baby and sometimes even still birthsWrite Your Answer Here

A. If untreated, gestational diabetes can cause problems for your baby, like premature birth and stillbirth. Gestational diabetes usually goes away after you have your baby; but if you have it, you're more likely to develop diabetes later in life.
