Q.

doctor told to give these two syrup (I.e multivitamin and iron syrup) to 6 month baby. is it compulsory to give multivitamin or shall I stick vitamin d drops alone

A. Medications actually are not needed if baby is healthy enough And if baby is having proper growth and development. Till 6 months complete only breastfeeding or formula feed should be given after completing 6 months you should start with water along with Dal water and rice water only in continuation with breast milk after completing 7 months you should start with Semi solid food like vegetable soup for fruits purry and then slowly move on for solid food so that the babies digestion remains good

A. If your doctor has advised you with some supplements I am sure they must have advised you on basis of something which you are not much aware about so instead of deciding on your own you please go ahead with what you are Dr is advising as they would know much better than you and I do
