Doctor prescribed amoxicillin to my baby for cough. He got loose motions on the second day. Doctor told to stop amox. 1st day he had 10-11 motions. Today he had 5 motions. He is fully active and playful. Should I take medicine for loose motions or they will get okay by themselves?

A. hi your baby is 5 months old now amoxiclav Medicine has side effects of gastric upset leading to loose motions once medicine is stopped problem shall resolve or else give probitics like darolac sachet 1 sachet twice a day for 5 days
