Doctor my son age is 18 months past two days onwards I am using iron and calcium syrups for my baby today I have observed that his poop is in dark grey colour there is any problem or because of syrups it's happening or what please tell me

Dr GhouseGuardian of 3 children2 years agoA. yes this is because of iron supplements were using. if there is no relief it is advisable to see the doctor for proper examination if there is need for proper investigations also both for diagnosis and treatment

NikithaMom of a 10 yr 11 m old boy2 years agoA. hello this can be because you are giving iron drops and it is normal and nothing to worry about and if you have any other concern then it would be better to check with your doctor and she will be able to guide you better on examination of the same and advise you accordingly
