Q.
Doctor, my daughter is of 10year 10 month & my son is of 7 year 5 months. every year my daughter & son are vaccinated by Influvac vaccine as per our pediatrician. Pls suggest is it required or not in this age also?

Dr Sameer awadhiyaGuardian of 2 children1 Year agoA. Influenza vaccine or the flu vaccine is basically a vaccine which protects against different strains of flu viruses including swine Flu virus which causes symptoms specially in children because of less immunity.
Though it is not a mandatory vaccine but it should be given to every child to protect against different flu infection which is very comgumon every year . this vaccine is given after 6 months of age and initially two doses are given one month apart then every year single dose isg required .
It is not documented but still studies suggest that to some extent it may give partial protection against covid infection .

Now it would not be required but for your girl child you can go for the vaccination which is specifically for cervical cancer that you should definitely get done it’s only for girls child so you can get that done it’s a completely safe and good for the child to be done
