Q.

doctor my baby is 45 days old after BCG injection she suffered from fever I gave her paracitamol 6 drops after 3 hours see again suffering fever plz suggest me

A. Fever is when the temperature of the body goes above 99 degree fahrenheit and the safest medicine in sucht situation is paracetamol which can be repeated after 6 hours again if required in a proper dose . Alternative medicine can also be tried if required like ibguprofen and mefenamic acid preparations. cold sponging of the whole body with tap water can be beneficial too to bring the temperature down .
