Q.

#AskTheExpert Hello doctor. My 4 year daughters finger got stuck between the door. Can u suggest any syrup as painkiller? There is a swelling in her middle finger. I applied ice and a cream called mopin. In Bahrain i used to give her safofin in case of any pain after her vaccination. kindly suggest.

A. Hello mam if your doctor has prescribed you this medication before to be given to your child in terms of pain or any other problem then most certainly you can give the same medicine to your child as it is prescribed by a doctor. In the second case you should visit your paediatrician and show this finger to your doctor just to be sure that your child doesn’t hurt much and there is nothing to be worried about. It’s always better to be sure in such casesWrite Your Answer Here
