doctor has prescribed lorinase 5ml at night for my 4 year old? is it safe to give?

A. If the IG E Levels were measured after treatment it's high likely it's normal

A. seems like your baby is having history of allergy as I havent examined your child In person it's hard to comment upon your doctors judgement nevertheless the drug is safe if you are not satisfied with your doctors medication it's better to take second opinion it needs examination and complete history

A. thanks a lot doctor last month she had the same cold and cough at beginning .nebulisation with pulmicort +asthavent was done for 3 days.no change and after 1 week she got ear infection was on augmentin...for 7 days still crp was 8.7 then doctor gave duoneb +pulmicort for 3 days along with clarithromycin antibiotic and montelukast and levocetrizine and bromhexine hcl . ige was normal when tested.. cough subsided almst after month..

A. even though ige normal why she is been prescribed montelukast for 1 month ...which has been already taken 1 month and at times in between doctor

A. its separate montelukast 4 mg separate and l-cet which was given for her last month for cough and cold.. can it be taken together doctor? will montelukast alone is enough for throat redness?
