Doctor give amoxicillin to my baby for cold.. How many doses in day should be given... And for how many day?

ExpertDr.Rasika ThosarPaediatric Intensivist7 years agoA. hi good evening. better to consult with your doctor for examination and treatment for the same. avoid self or suggested medications it can be dangerous and may have deleterious side effects. always follow up with your doctor in perso ask yoir doctor to write full prescription

Shaista TarannumMom of a 17 yr 1 m old boy7 years agoA. doctor must tell you the dosage and frequency Ma'am...it could be for 3 or 5 or 7 days depending on the intensity of the cold. it's an antibiotic ...so please do not miss any dose and complete the course. feed the baby well too. I think it must be kept in the fridge also.
