Q.

Doctor detected hydrocephalus in 9 month scan and had c section. Baby has 35cm hc during birth and doctor asked to obeserve and measure hc. Now she is 4 months old with 42cm hc and she had shunt surgery last week. Still she is setting sunset eyes sometimes and she doesn't look at anyone bt smiles. Is she have any vision problem.

A. generally congenital hydrocephalus will be having limited prognostic significance probably your doctor must have explained everything in the die at present baby doesn't have much increase in head circumference it is within normal limits
