Q.

doc has prescribe atarax and spas drops med for baby only in emergency if he cries to much. i m giving him from 3 days as he is not sleeping well day and night. is it safe?

A. Unless the baby’s actually having cold you need not give atarax medication. Try investing in a baby safe ergonomic carrier so that you can make the baby fall asleep. It is not advisable to resort to medications just for the sake of baby’s sleepWrite Your Answer Here

A. if the baby is crying excessively it is better to consult your doctor one so that a doctor can examine and find out the cause of discomfort in your baby

A. Hi parent Please avoid over use of it. If she has colic pain, you may massage her stomach gently with coconut oil using fingers in clockwise direction You may use Hing roll also If she has cold , keep a bowl full of chopped onion near her bed approx three feet far overnight. Take sunbath daily with her head and ears covered mom should not use RO water Please consult your pediatrician if symptoms persist
